Thank you for this, and yeah, "trading love for money" is definitely something I'm worried about. I'm hopeful that the more modest ambitions of supporting myself with writing will have fewer issues with that than growing a company for a successful exit!

That's a good point on something coming from outside, I'll have to keep an eye open for that.

As for divination, not on these dreams yet, though I have done in the past, and I did a divination last night on a related question ("What do I most need to understand about starting a substack?" - apparently, "don't do it!"). Asking about these dreams in particular seems like a fruitful thing to do, and I'm a bit embarrassed I didn't already think of it.
